Philip Rogel-President, A firefighter / Paramedic since 1978 created PAR Educational Systems LLC in 1992. Understanding that current certification classes lacked essential hazard awareness for its students, Phil started as a volunteer firefighter / EMT for Homewood Il Fire department responding in 1964 Corvette with a flashing blue light. After becoming a Paramedic, Phil worked as a Paramedic in the Cook County Jail(Chicago) while waiting to be called for work at the Chicago Fire Department. In 1982 Phil was hired by CFD and was promptly placed on the dangerous South Side of the city.
In 1984 Phil looked for a better future and headed West find a little city called Peoria AZ. He was hired by the Peoria Fire Department becoming the 16th Fire Department Employee. Becoming an American Heart Instructor in 1992, Regional and National Faculty in 1998 FOR BLS/ACLS/PALS. Phil retired in 2006 with the fire department never looking back and in 2012 PAR Ed certified over 5000 students. In 2013 PAR becomes partners with the new University of Arizona's College of Medicine- Phoenix.
In 1992, PAR Educational Systems LLC became an authorized Training Center for American Heart Association BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP Certifications.
PAR Educational Systems LLC, First in Arizona (1998) to provide a turn-key solution for complete Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) programs.
PAR's owner Philip Rogel- also published a textbook titled "PUBLIC ACCESS DEFIBRILLATION -THREE MINUTES-A MUNICIPAL APPROACH" a guide to creating an efficient heart-safe community.
